Atropine

Atropine Sulfate is used to:

• Treat Bradycardia
• Reduce salivation and bronchial secretions before a procedure
• As an antidote for Cholinergic drugs or mushroom poisoning

Side effects

Common side effects with this drug include:

• Dry mouth
• Blurred vision
• Sensitivity to light
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Loss of balance and coordination
• Tachycardia

Excess doses can lead to:

• Tachycardia (a more severe form)
• Glaucoma
• Pyloric obstruction
• Airway secretions

Severe complications:

• Seizures
• Loss of consciousness

Dosage

• 2mg

Storage

• 20°C to 25°C
• Do not freeze or refrigerate
